    Costumer Reviews

Product arrived within time frame. Easy install...2 wires. Just make sure you unplug the stove or shut off the electricity first. Don't try to pull the bake element out on this particular model stove/element, as the 2 connections are M/F connections that need to be disconnected by hand. The bake element is not a pull/push type connection like some stoves have.

The two M/F electrical connections are bare, if they touch any part of the metal stove expect sparks to fly if you forgot to disconnect the electric. Try to keep the wires from falling back into the holes or you will have to take the back of the stove off to get them back into the stove. Time consuming.

Personally I think this type design/electrical connection is dangerous to the unknowing do-it-yourselfer. The electrical connections should be a push/pull type rubber/plastic coated of some sort to prevent electrical shock or injury.

We got stuck with this range in our apartment unit. Its clear they went for the cheapest unit on the market. The burners never stabilize at any set temperature, but continue to rise in heat. All the temp setting does is determine how fast they heat up. Try and sear a piece of meat the same on both sides... 4 minutes on one side, 90 seconds on the other. Its ridiculously off.

The oven is horribly uneven, especially in the 350-400 degree "sweet spot" needed to cook/bake pretty much everything. Set it for 325 and you get 340. Set it for 350 and you get 415. Set it for 375 and you get 390. Set it for 400 and you get 430... its unpredictable and all over the place. Not to mention the left side seems to get much hotter than the right side in out oven. We rotate everything. Piece of junk that we will be replacing (just like we did our refrigerator)

Unless you are absolutely broke and can't afford anything else--or you simply don't care and never bake... don't bother.

And seriously? 1/2 the cost of the unit in shipping? Why would anyone pay that?
