I have been seeking for a stainless wok for sometime. I did not want a non stick finish as when heated too hot they produce fumes that can be toxic to pet birds.I bought this Cusinart Stainless 14 inch stir fry. It is a great pan. It is great seeking, substantial so you can cook a lot of food in it. It is tremendously straightforward to clean. It comes with a good glass lid. It is also light weight. I personal the set of Cuisnart Stainless Cookware that I purchased last year on Amazon. I am particularly happy with the set. I had shopped about on the internet for a wok like this and this was the perfect price tag by far with no cost shipping too. The quality of this wok is excellent and we really like cooking with it. The see thru lid tends to make it wonderful to see your food while it is cooking, my old 1 didn't have that. Would extremely advocate this item.

This is our 1st stainless steel wok. It is huge sufficient for our objective. The price tag is ideal. We have electric burner so the flat bottom works fine. We do not expertise uneven heat distribution along the side for the reason that all the heat comes from bottom.Even so, it could be greater:1. The cover does not have a hole to let out the steam like our other woks produced by Chinese brands, so all the steam came out from side, that has produced the stove surface as well messy.two. We do not like the flat bottom. It does sit nicely on our flat stove leading. But it feels awkward when you stir food inside. The inner surface is not smooth from side to bottom.

Not for induction cooktops
Amazon lists this as a wok that is appropriate for induction cooktops. It does not perform on my induction cooktop, but it is a beautiful pan otherwise.
