Light ok, sound not so much December 14, 2011

This electric log works for us. The light sort of slowly pulsates. It is a little too bright but we put some real wood around it and it is much better. The crackling noises are not realistic, but you don't have to turn them on. All in all, it looks nice in the fireplace behind the screens. It doesn't call attention to itself and people don't think anything about it, assuming there is a low hearth fire in the fireplace, unless they really look closely.

This is not what i expectedfor 71 bucks.....lesson learned. Do not buy items at night cause u cant sleep. Wish i could return it!
