I needed a new burner for my OLD range. You know that 1950's model that you are sure you can't find parts for any more. Was so very glad that this was here, and the price was great as well. The service was fast and easy and I had it put on, an working in under 30 minutes.

Works as intended, saved me a LOT of money. November 21, 2010

This may or may not be an original GE part, I can't tell. I doubt that it is. I highly recommend it. There's no GE emblem like the old one. But in reality, it's identical. It heats faster, it costs less than a lot of others on the market, and I bet if I called a repair shop, this is what they would bring (and mark up 200 percent). I removed the old part and install the new one in about 15 minutes. Easiest repair I've done in a long time. It's naive to think GE has its own factory staffed with little American flag-waving elves dedicated to building replacement parts for 40 year old stoves. If they did, this part would cost $100, not $22. Folks, these all come out of a small number of factories, probably in China. But the bottom line is that it works as advertised, fits perfectly, and saves me from having to buy a (Chinese-made!) $1,000 replacement stove for a few more years. If you really want to spend four times as much so you can have the GE label on your part, go right ahead.
